Senior Engineer Xiaoyu Cao

CNPC Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd.

Xiaoyu Cao, male, a native of Zizhou, Shaanxi Province, was born in May 1979 and worked as a senior engineer. He joined the work in 2003, and since 2007, he has successively served as the deputy director and director of the production and operation department of the drilling rig branch of CNPC Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd., manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Thermal Engineering Branch, member of Party Committee, deputy general manager and chief engineer of CNPC Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd.. He has won many awards such as Advanced Individual in Scientific and Technological Work and First Prize in Technological Innovation of CNPC Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd.. He has mainly engaged in innovative design and manufacture of energy equipment, research on new processes and methods, research on quality system technology, etc. He has also made significant achievements in innovative equipment design, digitalization and intelligent development of enterprises, and promotion of new energy equipment, leading the development of the industry.

Prof. Xiaohua Zhu

Southwest Petroleum University

Xiaohua Zhu, with a graduate degree, is a working doctor, second-level professor, doctoral supervisor, and vice president of Southwest Petroleum University. Serving as a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation in the 10,000-person plan of the Central Organization Department, Winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, Young and middle-aged leading talent in scientific and technological innovation in the Ministry of Science China Youth Science, he is the National candidate of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, government special allowance expert of the State Council, the Excellent Youth of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Outstanding Talent of the Ministry of Education in the new century, Academic and Technical Leader of Sichuan Province, the Outstanding Talent of Sichuan Province, and Advanced Worker of Sichuan Province, and has won the Technology Award of China Association for Science and Technology, Huo Yingdong Young Teacher Award, Sun Yueqi Youth Science and Technology Award, and Sichuan Youth Science and Technology Award. He is also the director of the Key Laboratory of Petroleum and Natural Gas Equipment Ministry of Education, the director of the National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center of Oil and Gas Equipment Technology, the member of the National Oil and Gas Drilling Equipment Engineering Technology Center, and the editorial board of nine academic journals including Journal of Petroleum, Natural Gas Industry, Engineering Failure Analysis and Journal of Hydrodynamics. He has mainly engaged in the theoretical and applied technology research of string mechanics, downhole tools and rock fragmentation in oil and gas wells. He is the head of the youth science and technology innovation team of “Drilling Speed Increase” in Sichuan Province; he presided over five National Natural Science Foundation projects (one youth, one excellent youth, one general, one key and one outstanding youth project), one national key research and development plan project, and four joint research tasks under the national major oil and gas special sub-project; he won one second prize of national scientific and technological progress, and five first prizes, five second prizes and three third prizes of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress respectively; as the first designer, he authorized 50 invention patents, one PCT patent, 11 patent transfer licenses, and won five patent implementation and industrialization awards in Sichuan Province; he published 260 papers, including 119 papers retrieved by SCI, 65 papers retrieved by EI and five monographs.

Prof. Tiantai Li

Xi'an Shiyou University

Tiantai Li, male from Zhongning, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, was born in September 1962. He joined the Communist Party of China in June 1996. He is not only Doctor of engineering, Professor and Doctorate Mentor, but also President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Xi'an Shiyou University.

Li conducted research on Petroleum Engineering Information Application Theory and Technology, oil and gas reservoir protection technology and theory, the theory and technology of shaft wall stability, and oil and gas field development and production theory and technology. He also made a series of research progress and gained many innovative results in the development and production of conventional and unconventional oil and gas in the western basins of Ordos and Tarim. Besides, he was responsible for more than 10 vertical projects above the provincial and ministerial level, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Major Projects, and Shaanxi Provincial Major Special Projects, and more than 30 corporate cooperation projects. He published over 110 papers, more than 30 of which were accepted by a SCI and EI journals. He wrote and published three books. In terms of awards, he won one second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, four first prizes of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress, one first prize of Shaanxi Province Teaching Achievement Award, one second prize of China National Petroleum Corporation Science and Technology Progress Award and sixteen department-level science and technology progress awards.
