ICMSP 2023

2023 5th International Conference on Intelligent Control, Measurement and Signal Processing (ICMSP 2023) was successfully held in Chengdu from May 20 to 21, 2023, and was jointly organized by CNPC Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd., PetroChina National Oil and Gas Drilling Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, Southwest Petroleum University, Xi’an Shiyou University, Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power, and School of Geosciences and Info-physics of Central South University.

Participants in this conference comprised more than 500 people from over 60 well-known universities at home and abroad, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Southwest Petroleum University, over 20 scientific research institutes, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and over 30 high-tech enterprises, including Beijing Liuhe Greatness Technology Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Hwayoo Petroleum Drilling & Production Equipment Co., Ltd.

Xiaoyu Cao, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd., presided over the first day of the conference. The opening addresses were delivered by Jishan He, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Fu Zhang, General Manager of Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd., Xiaohua Zhu, Vice President of Southwest Petroleum University, Tiantai Li, President of Xi’an Shiyou University, and Guangting Chen, President of Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power, respectively.

From the perspective of industry status, development trends, and cutting-edge technologies, special speeches were given on popular disciplines such as measurement and control technology, intelligent instruments, electronic information, intelligent control and automation, signal and information processing, intelligent oil and gas fields, and nondestructive testing, by 21 renowned experts and scholars, including Aiguo Song, Dean of School of Instrument Science and Engineering of Southeast University, Zhengdong Cheng, American scientist/Professor of Texas A&M University, Ying Chen, Chief Expert of CETC, Chuan Li, Chief Professor of Information Detection and Processing Innovation Team of Faculty of Information Engineering and Automation of Kunming University of Science and Technology, Dengyun Lu, CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd., Jie Wu, Dean of School of Electronic Engineering of Xi’an Shiyou University, Weihua Cao, Dean of the School of Automation of China University of Geosciences, Chuanjun Han, Dean of the School of Mechatronic Engineering of Southwest Petroleum University, Zheng Ma, Professor of Southwest Jiaotong University, Yuanqing Xu, Professor of Beijing Institute of Technology, and Youmin Hu, Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The attending experts deeply exchanged the latest research achievements and advanced experience in industry development and shared their unique insights into development trends and research directions of the industry.

The International Conference on Intelligent Control, Measurement and Signal Processing (ICMSP) is supported by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers). Its purpose is to discuss the application of new technologies and methods such as sensors, measurement and detection, signal processing, and intelligent control in the efficient exploration and development of oil and gas fields and to provide new technologies and ideas for the construction of intelligent oil fields. It is of great significance for disseminating cutting-edge information in disciplines and industries, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and condensing academic achievements in the industry.

2023年5月20日至21日，由宝鸡石油机械有限责任公司、国家油气钻井装备工程技术研究中心、西南石油大学 、西安石油大学、浙江水利水电学院、中南大学地球科学与信息物理学院联合主办的第五届智能控制、测量与信号处理国际学术会议（ICMSP 2023）在成都成功举办。

来自清华大学、浙江大学、华中科技大学和西南石油大学等60余所国内外知名院校，中国科学院等20余所科研院所，北京六合伟业科技股份有限公司、四川华宇石油钻采装备有限公司等30余家高新技术企业的500余人参加了此次学术会议。

首日大会由宝鸡石油机械有限责任公司副总经理、总工程师曹晓宇主持，中国工程院院士何继善、宝鸡石油机械有限责任公司总经理张福、西南石油大学副校长祝效华、西安石油大学校长李天太、浙江水利水电学院校长陈光亭分别作开幕式致辞。

东南大学仪器科学与工程学院院长宋爱国、美国科学家/德州农工大学成正东教授、中国电科首席专家陈颖、昆明理工大学信息工程与自动化学院信息检测与处理创新团队首席教授李川、中石油集团川庆钻探工程有限公司陆灯云、西安石油大学电子工程学院院长仵杰、中国地质大学自动化学院院长曹卫华、西南石油大学机电工程学院院长韩传军、西南交通大学马征教授、北京理工大学徐远清教授、华中科技大学胡友民教授等21位著名专家学者围绕测控技术、智能仪器、电子信息、智能控制与自动化、信号与信息处理、智能油气田、无损检测等热门学科，从行业现状、发展趋势、前沿技术方面进行了专题演讲。与会专家深入交流了行业发展的最新研究成果和先进经验，分享了对行业发展趋势和研发方向的独到见解。

21日，本届学术会议分别举办了”企业与成果转化报告会”和”博士报告专场”，共有42位专家学者作学术报告，交流了科研成果和前沿技术。

智能控制、测量与信号处理国际学术会议（ICMSP）由IEEE（电气和电子工程师协会）作为技术支持，其宗旨是研讨传感器、测量与检测、信号处理、智能控制等新技术、新方法在油气田高效勘探开发中的应用，为智能油田建设提供新技术、新思路。对于传播学科及行业前沿信息、促进科技成果转化、凝练行业学术成果等具有重要意义。
