Fei Li, male, Han ethnicity, born in July 1977, from Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. He holds a PhD, is a third-level professor, Doctor of Engineering, and doctoral supervisor. In 2018, he returned to Xi' an Shiyou University to work full-time under the “Shaanxi Province Young Talent Hundred Program.” He serves as the head of the “COSL–Xi’an Shiyou University Directional Drilling Joint Laboratory” and the “COSL Group Logging and Directional Drilling Key Laboratory–Xi’an Shiyou University Directional Drilling Branch.” He has also signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with COSL to conduct research and development on key technologies for rotary steerable drilling systems. In 2022, he was approved to lead the Shaanxi Province Qin Chuangyuan “Scientist + Engineer” team as chief scientist, and was also approved to head the Shaanxi Province University Youth Innovation Team, the “Intelligent Directional Drilling Equipment Innovation Team.” His main research interests include intelligent directional drilling equipment for oil and gas and new energy development, measurement and control, high-temperature electronic system design, highly reliable system design, hardware-in-the-loop simulation system design, fault diagnosis, and fault-tolerant mechanisms.
